About The Artist
My name is Vanessa Fadeff-Henderson, I grew up in beautiful Richland, WA and graduated from Richland High School. I have been drawing and painting all my life with a natural talent to draw and paint photo realistically. My natural talent has been refined over the years through various art classes and with the support of my friends and family.
It is because of this talent that I eventually moved to Silverdale, WA in order to attend Northwest College of Art, in Poulsbo WA. I pursued a Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts in Visual Communication, and a major in Fine Art graduating in 2006. I went through some trying times following college, not only in a whirlwind of grief over the loss of a lover, but I did not always know if I would have a roof over my head or a meal to eat. My art became more of a therapy to help me persevere, sink my toes into the sand, and trudge forward. I stayed in the Kitsap area and worked as a pet stylist for a few years before getting hired into Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as a marine machinery mechanic in 2010. I completed the apprenticeship and currently work in the refueling equipment department. In pursuit of further endeavors for my career and personal development, I am an active member in Toastmasters, and have served as several of the Club Officer positions, as well as Area Director. Among some of my proudest accomplishments are several of my original pieces winning awards at various art shows. I now reside in the Bremerton area with my loving husband and our spoiled kitty. To this day I continue to build my skills and knowledge so that my art business can grow, and in hopes to better share my art. I have always found solace in my art and I am honored I get to share my passion with you! Thank you! Vanessa Fadeff-Henderson |
